The rooftop terrace at Millstone Court, Market Harborough

A rooftop above the rooftops of Market Harborough

Millstone Court is one and two bedroom apartments across three buildings on the River Welland, a few minutes’ walk from the high street and the station. Every resident can enjoy a landscaped rooftop terrace, four storeys up, looking out over Market Harborough in one direction and open Leicestershire countryside in the other.

It is the first building in Market Harborough designed to be rented rather than sold, and that shows in the things you notice after you move in.

  • Somewhere to spend the evening, not just a view. Mature trees, deep planted beds and built-in seating, four storeys up, with room to eat outside or have people over.
  • Someone who knows your name. An on-site property manager in the building five days a week, with maintenance alongside them. Not a number that rings somewhere else.
  • Move in with a suitcase. Take an apartment furnished and skip the weekend of flat pack, or take it empty and make it yours.
  • Fittings you would have picked yourself. Porcelanosa bathrooms, integrated appliances, a black oven and hob, matte black taps.
  • Pets are welcome here. No additional pet charge.

The best view in the town belongs to everyone who lives here

Four floors up, the rooftop terrace runs across the top of The Dainite Building. Mature trees, deep planted beds and built-in seating give it the feel of a garden rather than a balcony.

From up here you can see the whole town laid out below, the rooftops and the spire, and the Leicestershire countryside rolling away past the edge of it.

It belongs to every resident, not to the apartments on the top floor. Somewhere to have your coffee before work, eat outside on a summer evening, or have people over without needing a garden of your own.

Below it, the courtyard garden sits right on the water, a quieter green space for when you want the river rather than the view.

There is a property manager in the building five days a week, and maintenance on site with them. Not a number that rings somewhere else, not a contractor booked for a week on Thursday. Someone who knows the building, knows your name, and is here when something needs doing.

The finish is the part you notice every day. Bathrooms are fully tiled in Porcelanosa and fitted with Porcelanosa sanitary ware and a heated towel rail. Kitchens come with integrated appliances, a black oven and hob and matte black taps. Open plan living spaces run to full height windows, with app-controlled heating and fibre throughout.

Apartments are available furnished or unfurnished. If you are relocating, arriving from abroad, or simply do not want to spend a weekend building flat pack, take a furnished apartment and bring your clothes. If you have your own things, take it empty and make it yours.

Millstone Court sits in the Welland Quarter, a few minutes on foot from the high street and the station, with London St Pancras fifty minutes away by train. At its heart stands The Old Flour Mill, the 1850s building the development takes its name from, joined by two new buildings, The Dainite Building and The Old Rubber Works. Every apartment is brand new and has never been lived in, and many open onto riverfront balconies.
